Trellis Data founders win 2026 ACT Pearcey Entrepreneur Award

Trellis Data received the 2026 ACT Chief Minister’s Pearcey Entrepreneur Award for their contribution to the Australian ICT industry. ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr presented the award in Canberra, recognising our role in building Australia’s sovereign AI sector.

The Pearcey Award acknowledges individuals who demonstrate outstanding innovation, success and leadership in ICT entrepreneurship, celebrating local achievement while bolstering Canberra’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Why it matters

  • The Pearcey Foundation highlighted the decision to fund proprietary AI development.
  • Trellis Data has grown annual revenue by more than 100% and expanded into overseas markets, including the US.
  • Trellis platforms are deployed across federal departments, law enforcement agencies and defence programs.

We’re incredibly grateful to all our supporters, whose backing has been part of this journey from the start. We will be representing Canberra at the nationals in November 2026.
